Campaign Goal $420,000 reached and surpassed by $15,700!!



Your friends - your neighbors - volunteers make these decisions.

Funds are balanced with agency requests, community needs and priorities. Their recommendations go to the Board of Directors for action.

Local volunteers make all these decisions to guarantee that your contribution is helping here at home.

Just $1 Per Week:
Training Supplies for 3 literacy tutors, CPR/First Aid Training for 1 person, 115 boxes of cereal for hungry families and 4 containers for homebound meal delivery.

Just $5 Per Week:
10 monthly events for community youth, 8 lap blankets for elderly bus passengers, swimming lessons for 32 children and meals and beds for 8 homeless people.

Just $10 Per Week:
Food for 60 families for 3 days, parenting class materials for 26 families, 10 nights of housing for fire victims and 175 rides for those unable to drive.

 
The United Way & Volunteer Services of Greater Yankton will award funding to 501(c)(3) programs that address children and youth, seniors, emergency needs, families and neighborhoods. Funding supports efforts by non-profit organizations to continue addressing the human service needs of the greater Yankton community.
