Yankton Volunteer Leaders Vision – Purpose and Goals
PURPOSE of the Yankton Volunteer Leaders is to provide an opportunity for professional growth and to offer a network, which facilitates an exchange of information, ideas and support among volunteer leaders.
MEMBERSHIP in the organization shall be open to any Director, Coordinator, Administrator, Leader, Educator, Trainer or Volunteer that is willing to uphold the purpose of the organization. WE DO NOT MEET IN THE "J" MONTHS
GOALS -
· Monthly attendance of ten
· Network through exchange of agency information
· Education by means of guest speakers and/or a yearly workshop
· One group volunteer activity a year as agreed by membership
· Recognition of community volunteers
· Promotion of our organization
