THANK YOU Yankton! The recent Disaster Relief Drive to aid the communities of Pilger, Wisner, and Coleridge, NE, and Wessington Springs, SD has been a huge success thanks to YOU, our caring neighbors.
Earlier this week, United Way & Volunteer Services put the call out to assist our neighbors recently affected by severe weather, asking community members to help make a difference by donating sports drinks and salty snacks to benefit volunteers and residents assisting in relief efforts.
Your support has been outstanding and has resulted in a mountain of donations we get to share with our neighbors in need. Great job!
A special thanks to the Yankton Chamber of Commerce and HyVee for promoting the drive and collecting donations. RSVP volunteers, thank you for baking delicious homemade goodies to share and for working the donation table at HyVee. Thank you to Quality Well Service and Jeremy Promes for delivering the donations. And thank you to local media for sharing the Disaster Relief Drive information to the community. What wonderful collaboration, what an outstanding community effort!
This tremendous effort is testament to the caring and giving community we are all a part of.
THANK YOU again for making a difference!
