September 2007 - Terry Stull

When Terry Stull joins an organization or volunteers to help with a project, he is committed to the fulfilling the tasks. Calvary Baptist Church, Big Friend Little Friend, Mount Marty College, Sertoma Club, Lewis & Clark Theatre Company, Lewis & Clark Optimist Club and United Way & Volunteer Services have all benefited from the time, talents and treasures Stull has so generously shared.

For over nine years Stull has been a member of the Calvary Baptist Church serving in various capacities - small group leaders, member of the Music Committee and current Chair, Men's Fraternity member, ministry at nursing homes by leading singing, singing cantatas in the choir, Stewardship Committee member and chair plus other activities.

Mentoring a Little Friend for over four years has been very enjoyable for Stull. The duo frequently take part in the program's monthly Fun Function as well as spending time together talking, attending events. He also attends the Big Friend Little Friend Board of Directors meetings as the United Way & Volunteer Services Director Liaison. Stull also spends time with Mount Marty College students through a new program - One-on-One Mentoring Program as well as supervising interns when they work with him at Kolberg-Pioneer.

Sertoma Club has a faithful member and leader with Stull serving as President three times since joining the group nine years ago. He is currently Board Chair and assists at the monthly Sertoma Bingo Night at Majestic Bluffs. One of the accomplishments made during one of his years as Chair was the installation of the new scoreboards at Sertoma Park.

The United Way & Volunteer Services also reaps Stull's leadership skills as he is the current President Elect as well as serving as Campaign Chair last year when the goal was surpassed. He has also served as Loaned Executive coordinating with various businesses to give a campaign presentation to the employees.

Stull is a former member of the Lewis & Clark Theatre Company, serving on their board for five years and a former member of the Lewis & Clark Optimist Club. He is very appreciative of the opportunity to serve the community and appreciates the support of this involvement granted by his employer, Kolberg-Pioneer.

Sharing time, talent and treasures makes a difference in Terry Stull's life as well as in the lives of many others in this community - from the young to the elderly, from leading a project to being part of a project, from mentoring to asking for support. Terry Stull - making a difference!
