- Become an advocate for a disabled person
- Listen to a child read or help them with math
- Play games, cards, music with others in group setting
- Update patient records
- Be a receptionist - welcome and direct people
- Assist with admission, dismissal and patient transfer as a TEAM member
- Drive for Meals On Wheels
- Drive people for medical appointments in and out of town
- Tutor an adult in reading and math skills Drive your pick-up for volunteers to move smaller items
- Be a decision maker - join a non-profit Board of Directors - they need you!
- Share your time in respite care
- Be a Big Friend - children need role model and adult friend
- Explain and demonstrate a craft to a small group of elderly
- Shop for groceries for disabled either with the person or with just their list
- Keep a lending clothes closet in order
- Share your travel pictures with a small group of elderly
- Collect toiletries for personal care kits
